Hemoptysis
Hemoptysis, or coughing up blood, can occur in lung cancer. According to the Merck Manual, 20 percent of cases of hemoptysis are caused by lung tumors. If lung cancer grows into a surrounding blood vessel and erodes the vessel, significant blood loss can be experienced. According to American Family Physician, lung cancer can also erode the lining of the airways, which also causes bleeding and hemoptysis.

Coughing up blood doesn’t tell you how long a person will live. As Dr. West notes, it is not a typical complication of erlotinib. Sometimes, radiation can be used to palliate coughing up blood–whether it’s a good idea for a particular patient needs to be evaluated by an in person doc.

我老公最近白色黏液痰多，也不咳嗽，他自己说感觉嗓子热，就有黏液痰，一直找不到原因，今天仔细学习这个帖子，觉得是胃食管返流引起的，非常符合，感谢老马，明天马上用胃动力药物和抑酸药，期待有好效果，论坛真是好啊，需要学习的东西太多了，给自己多充电。
